A short ways off the a local road is this nice waterfalls. You have to hike down a steep embankment to get to the lower part of the falls, all the while trying not to drop your camera or tripod.
Late spring, the mosquitos were buzzing like crazy. Naturally I was wearing shorts and a tee shirt and neglected to bring bug spray.
This is a 3.2 second exposure with the Canon 5D Mark II and 17-40L at 17mm, f/13, ISO 100. The left side of the falls was a little dark, so I set up a Canon 580EX II on a stand in manual mode and shot some light on the rocks, which made them glisten like the wet rocks by the main falls.
