Well, the weather for our local World Wide PhotoWalk turned out to be very iffy. The sky was gray and dismal. We did not get as many participants as expected, likely because of the weather.
One good thing about an overcast sky is that it works like a planetary sized soft box. The light is very diffused. Not good for shooting contrast-y subjects for sure, but good for shooting people.
The photographers that did show up had a great time socializing and working at making decent images in less than ideal conditions.
Here are some of the images I took, none are really spectacular, but none the less, it was a fun day and great to participate in a world wide event.
A horse planter….after all, this IS Saratoga…
Something from late last night…..
The umbrella in the floral arrangement…..(NOT as exciting as the sword in the stone!)
And my good friend Rod getting goofy in the elephant hosta….
